

Deputy Jennifer Garmon is a Carroll County native and 2002 Central High School graduate. As a Central High School student Jenn Poor played defensive end with the Central Lion football team and was voted wittiest and most school spirit in senior superlatives! After attending the University of West Georgia and working as a sales representative for Sprint Nextel, she found her calling in law enforcement.
Deputy Garmon earned her law enforcement certification in the Georgia Peace Officer's Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) from North Central Georgia Law Enforcement Academy in 2008. Her career in law enforcement began with the Carrollton Police Department and has been with the Carroll County Sheriff's Department since 2016.
Jennifer and her husband, Kent, have three children, Elsie, Piper and Kent and she has an older son, Bo.
