SHOUT OUT

Today’s super big, colossal shout out goes to the Lions for defeating Villa Rica and getting a big homecoming win. The Lions touchdowns came from freshman Ty Brewer, seniors Beau Ivy and Korben Waldrop connected for 2 touchdown passes, and senior Narada Levett had 4 touchdowns and rushed for 315 yards, possibly setting a school record. The Lions racked up 556 total yards on offense behind the blocking of seniors Collin Jenkins, Brock Gibson, Levi Lee, Justin Wilburn, Elijah Jackson and junior Jackson Burns. Defensively the Lions had 3 sacks by seniors Brock Gibson, Elijah Jackson, and junior Tae Heath. Tae Heath also caused a fumble which Brock Gibson recovered. Senior DreShaun Parker had an interception. The Lions football team would like to thank our student section who showed up to support their team. The Lions travel to Heard County this Friday. It would be great to see our student section make the short drive to support your classmates this coming Friday.

Our next big shout out goes to the 2020 Homecoming King Nate Handley and Prince Ethan Askin. Congratulations to Homecoming Queen Abby Cook and Princess Bailey Langley!

Our next shout out goes to Chorus senior, Trystan Chastain, who did an outstanding job singing the national anthem at last Friday’s homecoming football game!

Our next shout out goes to Central High School teachers in celebration of World Teachers’ Day!
