Hi, I'm Mrs. Masters! I grew up just down the road in LaGrange, Georgia, and I attended LaGrange College where I played soccer and earned a biology degree. For a while, I had plans of becoming a physical therapist, but a short stint in El Salvador gave me a newfound calling, and before I knew it I had enrolled in a teaching program and would embark on the most rewarding journey of my life.
I have a passion for building relationships, and I am excited to say that this is my 11th year teaching. I spent several years teaching science and coaching soccer in a couple of small private schools before moving to public education, and I recently taught at Rome High School for 3 years before coming to Central High School in 2020.
My faith is really important to me, and it drives my passion for teaching. My husband Nate is a football coach for the University of West Georgia -- Go Wolves! We have two sons, Myles (5) and Eli (3), and one awesome dog, Obie. When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my boys, running, cooking, and traveling.
I am looking forward to another great year at Central High School! #LionStrong
