Hello! My name is Katie Fowler, and I am a CBI Teacher at Central High School. I am a product of Carroll County Schools, and am blessed to have the opportunity to teach in the same system that helped shape me as a child!

I graduated from Villa Rica High School in 2003. I went to the University of West Georgia and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education with a concentration in Intellectual Disabilities. I earned my Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction: Elementary Reading from Grand Canyon University in 2015.

I began teaching in 2007 at Sand Hill Elementary where I taught for five years. I moved to Sharp Creek Elementary in the Fall of 2012 where I taught and also served as their In-School Coordinator for Special Education for the next five years. I received the opportunity to do my dream of teaching in the CBI program at Central High School in the Fall of 2017. I have been here every since, and thoroughly love what I do!!

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Matthew, since May 26, 2007. We have 2 beautiful daughters: Marianne and Audrie, who are both students in Carroll County Schools. We are very active members at Villa Rica 1st United Methodist Church, and are blessed to have such as amazing village of support at this church. In my spare time (which there's not much of in my life), I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and volunteering.
