Biography

Mr. Biddle was born in Fort Benning, Georgia and raised in Trion, Ga. He is a 1994 graduate of Trion High School where two of his English teachers, Mr. Jon Dennis and Mrs. Carolyn Mayo, inspired him to become a teacher. Biddle attended Jacksonville State University, where he majored in English. During his student teaching at Anniston High School, Biddle was hired to teach 8th grade Literature and Georgia History at Central Middle School beginning the 2001-2002 school year. While at CMS, he also coached the CMS Lady Lion basketball team for 7 years, winning the area championship in 2002.

In 2008, Mr. Biddle was hired to teach literature at Central High. During his time teaching at CHS, Biddle has taught 9th-11th grade literature, EH 1101/1102 via WGTC, and drama. He has also served as the JV Lady Lion basketball head coach (3 years), varsity Lady Lion assistant coach (3 years), JV head baseball coach (3 years), varsity assistant baseball coach (3 years), and served as the team statistician for the football team (3 years). In addition, he served as the Literary coordinator from 2013-2018. During those 5 years, CHS won 2 region championships, 3 runner-up region championships, achieved a 3rd place state finish (2016), had 19 individual region winners, 3 individual state runners-up, and 2 individual state champions. 

This is Mr. Biddle's 22nd year teaching and is he is blessed to say that all of them have been at Central Middle (7 years) and Central High (15 years). He is married to the former Myra Lewis of Oxford, AL. They have two daughters: Maryn (21) a junior at JSU and Mialeigh (16) a junior at Central High. They reside in Roopville. 

Biddle enjoys spending time with his family, is an avid reader, a diehard Atlanta sports fan, a history and political nerd, a coffee connoisseur, a weekly storyteller for the Times-Georgian, and an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Carrollton, where he serves as a lay minister and president of the church council.
