In 2002, I began my teaching career at Northgate High School where I taught Literature. The very next year I transferred to Temple High School so I could be closer to home. From 2004-2020, I taught 8th grade English Language Arts at Central Middle.

I am very excited about teaching Literature at Central High School this year! I am married to Kelly Edwards, an employee of Carroll County Schools, and we have two children, Allie Grace and Beau.  It is because of my children that I believe forming positive relationships with my students and their caretakers is of utmost importance. I strive to build bonds with my students that will last a lifetime and to love and treat them as if they are my own.
