Lieutenant Colonel Washington served over 25 years in the United States Air Force, first as an enlisted Avionics Navigation Systems Specialist. After receiving a commission as a Second Lieutenant, he held positions that included Executive Officer, Maintenance Officer, Flight Commander, Branch Chief, and Director of Staff, among other responsibilities.   

While assigned to the faculty of Air Command and Staff College, Col Washington taught Leadership and Command, as well as, Agile Combat Logistics.  He concluded his time on Active Duty as Commander, 56th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, Phoenix, Arizona.  

Col Washington is in his 6th year as an Air Force JROTC Senior Aerospace Science Instructor, and is passionate about his mission, "to develop citizens of strong character who are dedicated to serving their community and nation."
