My teaching and coaching career began here at Central this past year. I am so thankful that I am able to start my career in such a wonderful place!

My name is Makenzie Spayde and I am brand new to the Lion family this year. I am newly married to a wonderful man named Kyle and we have both lived here in Carrollton since our college days at UWG. We felt we had all we needed here... friends, jobs, a great church in Kings Chapel Presbyterian, and a short drive to family, that we knew we found our home once we tied the knot! We spend most of our time relaxing around town, hanging out with friends, or deciding our next big adventure (we decided to see a game in EVERY major league baseball park, yay!). I also coach for the school. I am an assistant coach for both the softball and girls basketball teams. I am blessed to have been a part of the State Championship team this year! I am honored to have the opportunity to teach your student and be a part of such a wonderful school. Needless to say, I am proud to be a Lion!
