Experience

My teaching and coaching career began here at Central this past year. My first year teaching took place in the Self-contained program. Since then, I have been working as a Co-teacher in Biology and Multicultural Literature. I am so thankful I was given an opportunity to move around in my field and find something I love!

Bio

My name is Makenzie Spayde and I am going on year two as a Lion. I am married to a wonderful man named Kyle and we are expecting our first child in September! Both my husband and I have lived here in Carrollton since our college days at UWG. We felt we had all we needed here... friends, jobs, a great church in Kings Chapel Presbyterian, and a short drive to family, that we knew we found our home once we tied the knot! We spend most of our time relaxing around town, hanging out with friends, or deciding our next big adventure (we decided to see a game in EVERY major league baseball park, yay!). I am also an assistant coach for the softball team. I am blessed to have been a part of a State Championship team my first year at the school! I help out with FCA here at Central and serve as the Huddle Leader. It is one of my favorite things that I get to be apart of. I am honored to have the opportunity to teach your student and be a part of such a wonderful school. Needless to say, I am proud to be a Lion!
