The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code, have students toss all food and drinks from outside vendors, spit out gum and remove all head gear. Put cell phones away as you enter class.

Students may NOT wear earbuds or headphones in the hallways.


Audition packets for the spring musical, Once Upon a Mattress, are now available! Stop by the chorus room to get your packet before Christmas break. Auditions will be held the second week of January.

We will be offering the ACT without writing on Tuesday, February 25 during the school day online.  Students in grades 10 through 12 may take the test.  The cost for ACT without Writing is $52.00. Students may register by clicking on the pink QR code flyer in your teachers' classrooms or by going to the school website or checking the Google Classroom run by the Guidance Office.  The deadline to register for this test is December 17 at 3:00 p.m.

Today is the final day to sign up to play tennis! The signup sheet is outside Ms. Startup's clinic.


It’s time to sign-up for track and field. If you want to be apart of either the boys or girls track team, sign-up outside either Coach Terry Room 619 or Coach Horsley Room 210. Track begins running January 7, 2020. 

Students: 10th-12th grade can sign-up to take the ASVAB in the Guidance Office through January 10. There is no cost to take the ASVAB and the test will be given January 16 at Central High School. Please see Ms. Zerr with questions. 


Senior Fees: $175 until February 14. CASH ONLY. See Linda Morris in the Media Center. 

Junior Prom Dues: $125 until December 19. See Mrs. Perryman, Ms. Duncan or Ms. Abby Smith.

Senior Prom Dues: $70 until February 13 (Only if student did not attend as a junior). See Mrs. Perryman, Ms. Duncan or Ms. Abby Smith.

Yearbook Sales: $90; see Ms. Monica Smith. 


The SMI basketball tournament begins tonight.. Make plans to watch some fabulous games as we finish out our final school week of the decade!
