The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code, have students toss all food and drinks from outside vendors, spit out gum and remove all head gear. Put cell phones away as you enter class.

Students may NOT wear earbuds or headphones in the hallways.

SHOUT OUT

Today’s big shout out goes to Will Smith and Olivia Vande Kerkhoff for passing this year's All-State Chorus auditions! All-State Chorus is a prestigious, choral event for select singers across the state of Georgia. Will and Olivia will travel to Athens, Georgia in February to represent Central High School at the GMEA All-State Chorus event. Way to go!

NEW NEWS

Drop/Add for spring semester is now open.  Students who need a schedule change request should look for the gold form in each teacher's classroom to use the QR code to enter the request.  The deadline is 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9, 2019.

Students: 10th-12th grade can sign-up to take the ASVAB in the Guidance Office through January 10. There is no cost to take the ASVAB and the test will be given January 16 at Central High School. Please see Ms. Zerr with questions. 

Students and Teachers: Bring your non-perishable items to the Ag Department by Friday! For each items donated a contribution will be made to support agriculture education!

Beta club is sponsoring 11 children for Christmas this year and we’ve posted the sign-up sheet to Google classroom. Members, please bring your gifts to our December 12. Thank you! 

DUES & DEADLINES

Senior Fees: $150 until December 18. See Linda Morris in the Media Center. 

Junior Prom Dues: $125 until December 19. See Mrs. Perryman, Ms. Duncan or Ms. Abby Smith.

Senior Prom Dues: $70 until February 13 (Only if student did not attend as a junior). See Mrs. Perryman, Ms. Duncan or Ms. Abby Smith.

Yearbook Sales: $90; see Ms. Monica Smith. 

AFTER SCHOOL

Central Lions basketball begins tomorrow at 4:30 p.m. Stay after school for three big games and support our players!
