Central High School

Announcements for Friday, November 1, 2019

The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code, have students toss all food and drinks from outside vendors, spit out gum and remove all head gear. Put cell phones away as you enter class.

Students may NOT wear earbuds or headphones in the hallways.

The main office is closed today. There will be no iced coffee sales today.

Today’s big shout out goes to MSgt Steven Peters in celebration of his first day of retirement! Thank you for your service to our country and thank you for choosing to spend your retired years at Central High School! Students and teachers, if you see MSgt Peters in the hall today, shake his hand and congratulate him!

Our second big shout out goes to Avree McGinnis, who was the recipient of the yearbook drawing for $50 gift card to Chick-fil-A! Congratulations Avree!

Our third shout out goes to members of the Buddy Club that helped with Fall Special Olympics. An extra special thank you to Delaney Hunt and Ayla Robinson assisting students the entire time. Great job and thank you for making the event a success for our students!

Our fourth shout out goes to the Gaming Lions for dominating the South Forsyth War Eagles, sweeping their opponents 3 games to none. Dakota Lankford lead the charge with 22 goals and 9 assists combined over 3 games. Your Gaming Lions also played against Pickens County's Gold Dragons. While not walking out with a victory, the team held the current state champs to 10 goals while scoring 3 of their own. Great job guys!!

Our final shout out goes to the October Students of the Month. Please send these students to the Media Center at this time.
