The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code, have students toss all food and drinks from outside vendors, spit out gum and remove all head gear. Put cell phones away as you enter class.

Students may NOT wear earbuds or headphones in the hallways.

Reminder: Halloween costumes or masks are not permitted at Central High School. 

NEW NEWS

TODAY IS THE BIG DAY! At 12 noon, the yearbook staff will hold a drawing via Facebook live. We will draw the name of  someone who has already purchased a yearbook, and one lucky student will be the recipient of a $50 gift card to Chick-fil-A. Tune in to our Facebook page - Central High School Yearbook - The Leonine - to watch! 

As a reminder, today is the last day to order a book for $80. The price increases to $90 on November 1.

Attention Students: Auditions for Literary Solo and Monologue will take place in the chorus room on Thursday, November 7, after school. Come prepared with a 1-minute monologue or a 1-minute song excerpt. Sign-up for an audition time outside of the chorus room. See Ms. Phillips if you have any questions. 

Attention Students: The Sadie Hawkins Dance is scheduled for Saturday, November 2. If you plan to bring a date who is not enrolled at Central High School, you must complete and submit a date form no later than November 1. Tickets for the dance are $15 each and will be on sale during lunch  Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. If you have questions see one of your class officers or student council members, or Ms. Martin in room 727.

Be sure to vote for Christy Bowen and Heather Robertson by “Liking” the Southern Roots Group Facebook page and adding the teacher’s name to the comment line. Look for the “Vote for your Favorite Teacher” post! If selected, they will receive a $1000 grant! You can vote once per day through Halloween!! AFTER SCHOOL

Cross Country Lady Lions head to the state and the Lion Football Team plays at Troup County High School tomorrow!
