The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code, have students toss all food and drinks from outside vendors, spit out gum and remove all head gear. Put cell phones away as you enter class.

Students may NOT wear earbuds or headphones in the hallways.

Iced coffee is now on sale in the Main Office. See Ms. Foley and get yours today!


Today’s big shout out goes to the Central High School Softball Team for clobbering opponents in the race for the championship trophy. The Lady Lions are in the Elite 8 and play in Columbus next weekend! Great job ladies and coaches!


Attention Buddy Club members - You must turn in the 2 required forms to Mrs. Hanson in room 315 by October 25 in order to participate in the Special Olympics event in Newnan on October 31. Please see Ms. Hanson if you have questions.

Calling all Math Team members and Math Team wannabees! If you are a returning Central High School Math Team member or if you would like to join this year, plan to attend the organizational meeting on Thursday,  October 24 in Mr. Murphy's room 734 at 7:50 a.m. or 3:35 p.m. Remember, Mr. Murphy wants YOU to be a part of the Central High School Math Team! Come to one of the meetings and check it out!

Basketball  tryouts begin on October 21. If you plan to tryout, be sure you have a current physical on file. See Coach Edwards with questions. 


The University of West Georgia will host a dual enrollment information session November 14. Use the attached links to register. 

November 14, 2019 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM 


Senior Fees: $150 until December 18. See Linda Morris in the Media Center. 

Junior Prom Dues: $125 until December 19. See Mrs. Perryman, Ms. Duncan or Ms. Abby Smith.

Senior Prom Dues: $70 until February 13 (Only if student did not attend as a junior). See Mrs. Perryman, Ms. Duncan or Ms. Abby Smith.

Senior Yearbook Ads: On sale through November 22. See Ms. Monica Smith for details.

Yearbook Sales: $80; see Ms. Monica Smith. Buy by October 31 and have your name entered into a raffle for free stuff!


The Lions are at Chapel Hill tonight; make the short drive and support our football team!
