The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code, have students toss all food and drinks from outside vendors, spit out gum and remove all head gear. Put cell phones away as you enter class.

Students may NOT wear earbuds or headphones in the hallways. Phones will be taken up if students wear earbuds or headphones in the hallways. 

SHOUT OUT

Today’s big shout out goes to the Lady Lions Volleyball Teams for bringing home big wins last night.  Varsity took Alexander 3-1 and JV won an exciting match 3-2. JV plays at Carrollton tomorrow and both teams travel to Villa Rica on Thursday.

NEW NEWS

If you would like to join Art Club, please visit Ms. Thompson in room 400 for a form and more information. Meetings will be held every other Wednesday after school from 3:45-4:45 starting on September 18. Dues are $25 and must be paid by September 13. 

Beginning September 3, anyone interested in trying out for basketball cheerleading may stop by room 403 to pick up required paperwork from Ms. Jordan. You MUST have a current physical and paperwork turned in BEFORE you will be allowed to participate in tryouts. Tryouts will be held the week of September 23.

Students will be voting on Homecoming King & Queen Thursday, August 29, during lunch. The voting will be performed electronically, using a QR code or link. If students do not have a lunch at Central High School, they may vote with Mrs. Morris in the Media Center. 

Attention NHS students: There will be a meeting in Mrs. Fountain's room 634, on Thursday morning at 8:00 a.m. Please make plans to attend!

Anyone interested in trying out for the swim team needs to stop by the front office and get an information sheet. Friday is the deadline to sign up. Specific instructions are on the information sheet. 

All students should join the appropriate Google Classroom for your grade level to see important information from the Guidance Counselor.  The codes for each Google Classroom are:

The Pride Club will be meeting at 3:40 p.m. in room 725. Stop by and see Mr. Conerly if you have questions.

Central High School is having it's first gaming club meeting today after school from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in room 410. Make sure you have transportation home after this meeting. 

Any student interested in being a member of Academic Team should plan on attending the first practice today, immediately after school in Coach Horsley's new room, room 210. If you are unable to attend, stop by 210 for more information.

AFTER SCHOOL

Softball plays at home Thursday against Sandy Creek and JV Football play at home against Callaway.  Come out and support our Lady Lions!
