The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code, toss all food from outside vendors, ask students to spit out gum and remove all head gear. You know the drill, let’s get it done.

Attention Class of 2019: You may wear school appropriate attire under your cap and gown for the class picture. You are not required to wear formal clothing for the picture. Seniors will be called from class for the 9:00 a.m. photo lineup on the football field. Remember, you are not excused from first period and will be counted absent if you miss class if you miss class.


Today’s big shout out goes to the Central High School Jazz Ensemble for earning all Superior Ratings last week at the GMEA Large Group Performance Evaluations at Cartersville High School. Go Pride Go!


Attention Junior Marshals: Permission slips for participation in graduation need to be turned in as soon as possible to Linda Morris in the Media Center.

Come see Central High School's production of Annie: The Musical this weekend! Performances are on Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, at 7:00 p.m. Performances will be held at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center and tickets are $10 at the door. We can't wait to see you there!

Attention Teachers: Ms. Clark is holding an EOC Testing Make-Up Training after school today in the Media Center. Training is mandatory, please make sure you attend if you missed the initial training.


Attention Seniors: If you are interested in beginning a full-time career, plan to attend the Carroll County Schools Senior Career Employment Day on April 30 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Performing Arts Center. Email Ms. Bass at in order to submit a resume and completing job applications.


Girls Golf plays at Sunset Hills tonight.
