The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code, toss all food from outside vendors, ask students to spit out gum and remove all head gear. You know the drill, let’s get it done.

Balfour will be on campus today during lunch to deliver caps and gowns for seniors. If you are unable to be here during lunch, see Linda Morris in the Media Center TOMORROW to pick up your cap and gown along with graduation information.

NEW NEWS

Key Club will meet this Wednesday at 3:45 p.m., there will be no morning meeting this week. Please make plans to attend in room 732.

Students interested in playing Volleyball next year should plan to attend one of the two upcoming informational meetings. Meetings are scheduled for tonight and Wednesday, April 17 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.

If you are planning on coming out for spring football and did not attend the parent meeting last night, please see Coach Smiley in the fieldhouse for a football packet to take home to your parents and to answer all your questions.  

The senior class picture, in cap and gown, will be taken Wednesday, April 24 at 9:00 a.m. on the football field.

Students in the 9-11 grade, if you are interested in being a member of the largest extra curricular organization at Central High School, performing at all football games and competitions, taking trips all over the country, you should audition for the Central High School Band Color Guard. For more information, please scan the QR Code located on posters around campus or see Mr. Ruby in the band room. Auditions begin April 22 and the registration deadline is April 19. Go Pride!!

Attention Seniors: If you are interested in beginning a full-time career, plan to attend the Carroll County Schools Senior Career Employment Day on April 30 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Performing Arts Center. Email Ms. Bass at kelly.bass@carrollcountyschools.com in order to submit a resume and completing job applications.

Attention students, Southern Therapy will be offering "FREE" physicals next Thursday, April 18. If you plan to participate in athletics during the 2019-20 school year, you must have an updated physical. Please see Coach Smiley for physical paperwork starting Wednesday. Southern Therapy has a consent form that must be signed in order for their caregivers to perform physicals on our student athletes. This form "MUST" be signed by parents as well as the other forms. Please take advantage of this opportunity to get a physical for "FREE".

AFTER SCHOOL

Soccer will be hosting a Pink Out on tomorrow as a Team Riggins fundraiser. This is also senior night, so make plans to attend and support our Lion family!
