The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and have students get rid of all food from outside vendors. Ask students to spit out gum and remove all head gear. Students must use earbuds, not headphones. Blankets are not to be used in school. Please leave blankets at home.


Attention all 2019-2020 Class Officer & Student Council Applicants: There is a mandatory meeting scheduled for Thursday, March 14 at 7:45 a.m. in the Media Center.  If you are unable to attend or have any questions, please see Mrs. Cowart in room 735.

Talent show auditions continue after school in the chorus room. You must audition if you want to be in the show! The talent show will be on March 29 during 6th and 7th periods. Tickets will be sold for $2 in advance. See Ms. Phillips if you have any questions.

Prom date forms are due by Thursday, March 14 and don’t forget, senior walk is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.


The Blood Drive has been rescheduled for Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. To give blood, please see Ms. Startup in the nurse's office.


Senior Fees are $150, cash only. See Ms. Morris in the Media Center.

Junior Prom Dues: $180, Cash Only. see Ms. Trumble or Wooten. Date forms due March 14!

Yearbook: $90. See Ms. Monica Smith. Last day to order is March 29!


The Central High School Symphonic Band will be Performing tonight at 8:20 p.m. at the Carroll County Performing Arts Center. This is a free performance and we would love to have your support! Go Pride Go!!

JV baseball double-header begins at 4:45 in Lion Valley. Varsity Tennis and Varsity Soccer both play at home tonight. Stay after school, support our teams, and show your Lion spirit!

It’s a great day to be a Central Lion and let’s remember, stay positive, work hard, and make it happen!
