The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and have students get rid of all food from outside vendors. Ask students to spit out gum and remove all head gear. Students must use earbuds, not headphones. Blankets are not to be used in school. Please leave blankets at home.

Job Shadow Day forms are due today in the guidance office.  

Registration forms and payment for participation in the Miss Leonine Pageant are due today to Ms. Phillips in the chorus room.

The Parent University meeting scheduled for January 15 has been moved to January 14 due to scheduling conflicts. Ninth grade parent should plan to attend the meeting which will focus on course registration for the 2019-2020 school year.

Boys interested in playing soccer need to sign-up with Coach Townson in room 726. Tryouts begin January 14 and physicals must be current at that time.

Students, did your parents attend Central High School? If so, go to the yearbook page on the school website and let us know their name and when they graduated. We’d love to feature you in the yearbook!

Students interested in playing tennis this spring should sign-up outside Ms. Startup’s office no later than Tuesday.


Senior Fees are $150, cash only. See Ms. Morris in the Media Center.

Junior Prom Dues: $150, see Ms. Trumble or Wooten.

Yearbook: $90; January 18 final day for name stamps. See Ms. Monica Smith.


Basketball plays tonight in the Walker Gym. Come out and support our fabulous teams!!
