Central High School

Announcements for Monday, December 17, 2018

The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Students, this weekend we tragically lost Tiffany Murdock who passed away Saturday. Please join in a moment of silence for her and her family.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and have students get rid of all food from outside vendors. Ask students to spit out gum and remove all head gear. Students must use earbuds, not headphones. Blankets are not to be used in school. Please leave blankets at home.

Attendance Appeal Decisions are now final and have been posted throughout the school by lunch  number. If you are on the list, then your appeal was denied. All other appeals were granted.

Central High School is participating in Job Shadow Day on Friday, February 1, 2019!  We encourage you to use this opportunity to explore a potential career on this date. Please complete the Job Shadow Interest Form by January 3 if you are interested in participating. The form is in the Guidance Office Google Classroom and on the school website on the Guidance Main Page.

The ASVAB will be offered for free at Central High School on January 16. Sign-up with Ms. Dixon in the Guidance Office. There are only 15 spaces available.

Senior Fees are $150, cash only. See Ms. Morris in the Media Center.

Junior Prom Dues: $100 until December 18. Dues increase to $150 after Christmas break! See Ms. Trumble or Wooten.
