Central High School

Announcements for Monday, December 3, 2018

The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and have students get rid of all food from outside vendors. Ask students to spit out gum and remove all head gear. Students must use earbuds, not headphones.

SHOUT OUT

Today’s super big shout out goes to the boys and girls varsity basketball teams for beating Newnan High School Friday night. The Lady Lions never stopped, winning 42-39. The Central boys were led by DJ Clayton ending with his 3-point score to win the game 54-52. Both teams played like state champs to give Lion fans an exciting night of great plays. Teams are back in action in Temple Saturday. Support our teams and cheer them on to another victory!

Our second shout out goes to the student section and faculty that came out to support our basketball teams Friday night. The Lion family is our teams 6th man, we need your continued cheers and support to win each game. Thanks from Coach Kenny Edwards for showing some love!

Our third shout out goes to the Central High School Wrestling Team for taking 1st place in the Screaming Eagle Tournament this past weekend. First place finishes came from Kobe, Shane, Sam, Aaron, Pierce and Zane.
