The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and have students get rid of all food from outside vendors. Ask students to spit out gum and remove all head gear. Students must use earbuds, not headphones.

NEW NEWS

Attention Juniors & Seniors: Permission slips for Carroll County Career & Aviation Day are due to the Guidance Office no later than Monday, November 5. Be sure to participate in this fabulous opportunity! Your $2.00 fee pays for lunch and transportation; don’t miss out!

Balfour will be on campus to take orders for graduation announcements, senior packages, class rings and letter jackets during lunch.

Class Officers and Student Council members will meet on Monday, November 5 at 7:30 a.m. in the Media Center.  Please be on time, we have a full agenda to discuss.

There are seven (7) Fridays until Christmas! If you need a little holiday spirit stop by the Media Center today!

Students, junior prom dues will increase to $150 at Christmas break.  They are currently $100. You have a month and a half to get the reduced rate! Don't delay and pay more, especially so close to Christmas!! Pay Wooten or Trumble ASAP!! See Wooten and Trumble for prom date forms which are now available.

Central High School’s FFA is proud to announce the 2018 Cans for Cows Food Drive. For each non-perishable food item brought in by students, the community, and other supporters, the chapter will be matching a monetary donation to Heifer International. Donations and proceeds will be made in honor of Mrs. Michelle Lewis, who was a long time friend of agriculture, our organization, and the community. Items can be dropped off through November 16. FFA will also be accepting donations at our inaugural Hunger Dinner for Hope on Thursday, November 15, at 6:00 p.m.

DUES & FEES

Senior Fees: $125 until December 15; see Ms. Duffey in the main office. Dues increase to $150, cash only on December 16, and students will not receive an alumni tee when paying after December 15.

Junior Prom Dues: $100 until December 18. Dues increase to $150 after Christmas break! See Ms. Trumble or Wooten.

Yearbook: $90. See Ms. Monica Smith.

AFTER SCHOOL

Central Lions travel to Sandy Creek tonight. Make the drive and cheer on our hard working players, cheerleaders, band, and coaches. Go Lions!!

It’s a great day to be a Central Lion and let’s remember, stay positive, work hard, and make it happen!
