The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and have students get rid of all food from outside vendors. Ask students to spit out gum and remove all head gear. Students must use earbuds, not headphones.

Students who park in Dream Team parking spots and are not on Dream Team will lose their parking privileges until after Christmas Break and possible have their car towed.

SHOUT OUT

Today’s huge shout out goes to Cross Country runners who ended this year's season by smashing their personal records at yesterday's region meet. Congratulations to Brenden Slater, Angel Muniz, Jacob Schmittou, Clint Rainwater, Dalton Williams, Dawson Davis, Ian Lovvorn, Mike Rodriguez. Abby Cook, Cadie Kilgore, Payton Bryan, Sinclaire Denney, Julia Douglas, Maddie Wood, Sandy, Wilson, and Lauren Heath. All runners have worked really hard to make this a great season. Great job everyone!

Our second shout out goes to the Marching Pride as they will do one final performance at Richards Stadium of the 2018 Competition Show tonight after the game. Everyone is invited to stay and support the Marching Pride and our 45 Seniors! Go Pride Go!

NEW NEWS

Attention Math Team Members: Make plans to participate in the first math competition of the season. Competition is scheduled for Wednesday, October 31 beginning at 10:05 a.m. in Mr. Murphy’s room 734. Competition will last until 11:45 a.m. See Mr. Murphy for more information regarding next Wednesday’s event.

Key Club has teamed up with the American Heart Association for tonight’s football game. Hot chocolate will be given out with American Heart Association bracelets from 6:30 p.m. through halftime under the canopy near the front gate entrance. Donations are not required, but will happily be accepted.

DUES & FEES

Senior Fees: $125 until December 15; see Ms. Duffey in the main office.

Junior Prom Dues: $100 until December 18. See Mr. Trumble, Wooten, or Perryman.

Yearbook: $80 until October 31.  See Ms. Monica Smith.

AFTER SCHOOL

The Central High School Football Team will celebrate Senior Night tonight in Lion Valley. Come out and support our fabulous players, coaches, and seniors!

It’s a great day to be a Central Lion and let’s remember, stay positive, work hard, and make it happen!
