Central High School

Announcements for Monday, October 8, 2018

The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and have students get rid of all food from outside vendors. Ask students to spit out gum and remove all head gear. Students must use earbuds, not headphones.

Today’s big shout out goes to the Central High School Marching Pride and volunteers who helped make the 36th Annual Super Bowl of Sound a huge success. We want to give a special thanks to Ms. Beverly and the Central High School Beta Club for sending so many volunteers to help work Saturday night so that the Marching Pride could perform their show! Go Pride Go!

Your donation for the shoe boxes can be dropped in the Media Center. Student, Hannah Warren, is heading up this donation drive with Colby Watson, Destiny Smith, Rebekah Cochran, and Madison Lathery.

National Hispanic Heritage Month is currently being observed across the country. American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America can be explored by visiting our Media Center. Students in Dr. Ingram’s classes have created bio-information pages on well-known Hispanic-American people that will be on display until October 15.
