The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and have students get rid of all food from outside vendors. Ask students to spit out gum and remove all head gear. Students must use earbuds, not headphones.

SHOUT OUT

Today’s first big shout out goes to the JV Central Lions Football Team for smashing the Haralson County Rebels 22-6. The Lions were led through the air by Hayden McGuire who connected with Donovan Smith for a 70 yard touchdown pass, with two rushing touchdowns added by Taylor Smith and Christian Cervantes. The defense was led by Brock Gibson, Courtland Caldwell and C.J. Shadinger. The Lions host the Bremen Blue Devils next Thursday.

Our second shout out goes to the JV Volleyball Team for two big wins last night. They defeated Carrollton 25-22 and 25-9 before finishing off the night with another solid win over Paulding County 25-10 and 25-9. Great team effort ladies!

Our final shout out goes to the Lady Lions Softball Team for beating Cartersville last night 7-2. Faith Bennett led the offense with 3 hits and Taylor Stevens had 2 hits including a home run. Shirley Sharp pitched the complete game only giving up 2 runs. Great job ladies.
