Central High School

Announcements for Friday, February 23, 2018

The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code, get rid of food and drinks from outside vendors, have students spit out gum and remove hoods. Only earbuds are used on campus, not Beat headphones.

Today’s big shout out goes to the Central High School Tennis Teams. The teams split with Chapel Hill yesterday. The girls defeated Cedartown 5-0 and the boys had wins from Luke Reid, Ethan Caldwell, and Landon Schulenburg. The teams travel to Darlington School Monday.

Students interested in Career Connections (formerly called Work-Based Learning) should fill out an application at Program details and requirements can be found on the web link. The Career Connections handout is available in the guidance office.

Students who submitted a yearbook staff application can check Classrooms for application status. See Mrs. Monica Smith if you have any questions.

Seniors -- It’s time to get your senior dues paid. If you have not paid your dues, please stop by and see Ms. Duffey in the front office or Ms. Morris in the Media Center. We need to record sizing information for next week’s orders.
