The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and ask students to get rid of food and drinks from outside vendors. Please have students remove hoods and headgear inside the classroom, in the gym and in the hallways. Beat headphones are not allowed in school, only earbuds.

Attention Student Drivers: Please park in your assigned parking spot. We have sold all parking spots up to 240. If you have not purchase a Central High School parking permit, you should not be parking on our campus. The cost of a parking permit is  now $20. All vehicles without a Central High Parking Permit Tag are subject to be towed at the owner's expense.


JROTC Cadets who need a photo retake, go to the 3-story building atrium before the beginning of 4th period to have your photo taken.

Ladies who are interested in being a contestant in the Miss Leonine Pageant should return registration forms to Ms. Phillips in room 401 no later than Wednesday, January 24.

Central High School will host a blood drive this Thursday, January 25 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Students must be 16 years old to donate and all participants will receive a free tee shirt. See Ms. Startup for more information.

AP Day Field Trip permission forms are due TODAY in the guidance office.

Key Club will have their January meeting tomorrow at 3:30 in Mrs. Smith's classroom. Please wear your Key Club t-shirt if you purchased one, we will be taking our yearbook picture at the meeting.

Students and teachers, we are still fighting flu and colds this season. Please wash your hands and use hand sanitizer to fight the spread of germs.

There will be an FFA meeting on Wednesday, January 24, after school. We will be discussing upcoming CDEs and National FFA Week! The meeting should be over by 4:15 p.m.


AP Exam registration is open today through February 19; please see the QR codes posted around campus, on Facebook, the Guidance Office webpage or Ms. Zerr for the link to register. All Advanced Placement (AP) exams will be registered for online at

Key Club is selling pancake breakfast tickets $7 each. The breakfast will be held on February 10, 17, and 24 Carroll County Ag Center.
