Announcements for Wednesday, January 10, 2018

The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and ask students to get rid of food and drinks from outside vendors.

Attention Students: Coach Shiver’s 2, 3, 4, and 5 period classes need to report to the stadium today.

Central High School welcomes Air Force JROTC Area 5 Regional Director Ms. Betty Maldonado! At this time, all JROTC Cadets should be in the JROTC classroom.

SHOUT OUT

Today’s big shout out goes to seven (7) Central High School Band Members for being selected to the Georgia Music Educators Association All-State Band! Over 7,000 students across the state begin the selection process in December, with just over 2300 students making it to the final auditions this past weekend, in hopes of landing one of only 400 positions. Central had more students selected than any other school in Carroll County; this is a new Central High School record for the number of students selected in one year!  All-State is the highest honor a high school band student can receive.  All-State Band Members are:

Tyra Babbs

Nick Hemrick

Riley Mitchell

Andrew Stewart

Kenji Trumble

Kale Ward

Brody Wilson
