The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and ask students to get rid of food and drinks from outside vendors.

Senior Superlative pictures will be taken Wednesday, January 10. You will be contacted by the yearbook staff with your appointment time.


Attention female students: If you are interested in trying out for Ms. Leonine, or would like to learn more about what is involved in the pageant, please plan to attend an “interest” meeting Thursday, January 11. Meetings will take place at both 7:45 and 3:30 and will be held in the chorus room. If you need more information but cannot attend one of the meetings, please stop by and see Ms. Phillips in room 400.

Central High School will host a blood drive on Thursday, January 25 from 3:00-8:00 p.m.

Attention Seniors: In less than 2 months the cap and gown order will be placed for graduation. Be sure to pay your senior dues in order to receive the correct size gown for graduation. See Ms. Duffey to pay dues and see Ms. Morris in the Media Center with question.

Students interested in taking the ASVAB should see Ms. Dixon in the Guidance Office. Students can sign up through January 12 for free. The test will be given January 18 at Central High School.


The 2017 football banquet will be held on January 8 at 6:00 p.m. The banquet will be held at the Carroll County Schools Performing Arts Center. There will be more information regarding the banquet once we get back after Christmas break. All players will be required to wear khaki pants and a collar shirt.  Please see Coach Smiley if you have any questions.

Key Club is selling pancake breakfast tickets $7 each. The breakfast will be held on February 10, 17, and 24 Carroll County Ag Center.

Basketball plays at home Friday night against Cartersville. Make plans to come out and support our Central Lions!
