The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and ask students to get rid of food and drinks from outside vendors.

The 9th grade teachers and students attending CCA today must report to the cafeteria immediately after taking attendance.


The swim team got off to a great start on Friday. With only 11 swimmers in the water, the Central Lions took 9th place out of 20 teams. Several swimmers turned in personal best times including Abbey Cook in the 100 Free, Aidan Gresham, 100 Backstroke, and Blaise Bergiel in the 200 Free. The swim team dives back into the pool on Thursday in Rome.



Attention FBLA members: There will be a meeting this Thursday at 7:45 a.m. or 3:30 p.m. in Rm 607. Please make plans to attend.


The Central of Carroll FFA will host their November meeting after school on Wednesday until 4 pm in the agriculture department. The chapter will be writing letters to soldiers for the holiday season as they are away from their families. We will also discuss upcoming team competitions and the Cans for Cows holiday canned drive. Snacks will be provided!

Teachers, if you are interested in purchasing poinsettias for this holiday season, please look for the email Ms. Williford sent with a QR code and link for making the purchase. Pre-orders will be taken through Thursday.. There are pink, white, and red in various sizes sold in conjunction with Mt. Zion's FFA. Few extras will be available when orders are picked up on November 30.


Attention students: Central High School will be offering an SAT prep class beginning this week. Tuesday and Thursday, 7:25 a.m., math study, in Ms. Cole's room 408, and Wednesday, 3:40 p.m., verbal study, in Mrs. Trumble's room 633.

Drama Club Club will host a spirit night at American Pie tomorrow from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Come out and support our Central Lions!
