Today’s first big shout out goes to the JV Central Lions Football Team for crushing the Cedartown  Bulldogs 36-8. The game started with a 15 yard touchdown run by Xavier Moreland. Moreland ended with another 100+yard game. The scoring continued with the first of 2 touchdown runs by Denvel Echols from 30 yards out. Right before the half, a Nick Dixon interception set up a Reid Lovvorn connection with Omari Glenn for a 20 yard touchdown reception. The scoring was capped off with a plunge into the endzone by Abrin Daniel. This win puts the JV Lions at 4-0 on the season. Terrific job JV football!!

Our second big shout out goes to the Lady Lions Softball Team for once again ending a game with a big win! The Lions beat Cedartown last night 9-1 in 6 innings. Great job ladies!
