The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and ask students to get rid of food and drinks from outside vendors.

Tomorrow the Lost and Found will be CLEARED OUT. If you’ve lost something, please see Ms. DeFriese in Student Services and claim your stuff!


Today’s big shout out goes to J.C Higgins for being selected the Academic Player of the Week and to Ms. Stephanie Trumble for being selected as Star Teacher of the Week. Please stop by the Media Center to have your picture taken and pick up your free tee shirt! Congratulations!

The second big shout out goes to the varsity and JV softball teams for running over Troup County last night. The varsity won 10-2 in 5 innings and the JV won 3-1. Great job ladies!

Our third shout out goes to the Central High School chorus for representing our school at the Cluster Celebration event last night. Great job ladies and gentlemen!


If you received a Spanish Test Out form, please return your signed form to the Guidance Office, or return it to Ms. Zerr in room 708, by Friday, September 1.


Swim Team sign-ups will begin on Tuesday, September 5. Information will be available in the main office next week. If you have been on the swim team before, email Coach Bush if you plan to swim again this year!

Seniors are invited to join the Guidance Office Google Classroom to access information about college visits, scholarships, transcripts, and more.  The access code is:  olbpbuz

Attention students! Yearbooks are now officially on sale. They are $75, which includes a nameplate on the front cover. Yearbooks will increase to $85 on September 16th. We will sell books during lunch on September 5-7 and September 12-14. You can also see Mrs. Monica Smith in room 626. You can even order online at Order yours today!

Attention students, the Carroll County Schools Move On When Ready night is scheduled for Tuesday, September 5 at the Performing Arts Center from 7:00-8:00 a.m. All students and their parents are invited.


JV softball plays at Bremen tonight at 4:30 p.m.; make the short drive and support our Central Lions! Volleyball plays at Villa Rica tomorrow and softball is at home against Sandy Creek.

It’s a great day to be a Central Lion and let’s remember, we are one community, one family, and one pride. Keep it rolling and keep it clean!
