The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and ask students to get rid of food and drinks from outside vendors.

Football tickets for the Central vs. Villa Rica game are on sale in the Main Office tomorrow through Friday for $6.00! Tickets at the gate will cost $8.00. Get your tickets for the game early and save $2.00!!

NEW NEWS

Everyone is welcome to attend the first FCA meeting of the year! Come out tomorrow at 7:45 a.m. in the wrestling room!

Key Club will have their first meeting next Thursday, August 24 at 3:30 p.m. in Monica Smith’s class room 626. All students interested in joining Key Club should plan to attend.

Teachers and students, the next Blood Drive at Central High School is Thursday, August 24 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Please sign-up with Nurse Startup to be a part of this life saving opportunity. You must be 16 years of age or older. All donors will receive a free tee shirt!

Our first advisement will be this Thursday between 6th and 7th periods. Students please check your class schedule to see your advisor's name and location.  If you can't find it, please ask one of your teachers to look at your schedule with you. Seniors will all meet in the cafeteria for this first advisement session. Please note... attendance is taken in advisement for all students.

Attention students: Are you interested in joining FBLA? Stop by and see Mrs. Hall in Room 607 or Mr. Vick in Room 141 for a membership form.

There will be  a Beta Club meeting in Mrs. Beverly's room on Tuesday, August 22 at 7:40 a.m. Please plan to attend!

Attention students, the Carroll County Schools Move On When Ready night is scheduled for Tuesday, September 5 at the Performing Arts Center from 7:00-8:00 a.m. All students and their parents are invited.

Students, Balfour will be on campus next Wednesday to deliver rings and letter jackets.

AFTER SCHOOL

Tonight volleyball is at home against Pepperell and Temple. Games begin at 5:00 p.m. Softball plays at Cedartown tonight at 5:00 p.m. Come out and support our Central Lions!
