Announcements for Thursday, August 3, 2017

The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and ask students to get rid of food and drinks from outside vendors.

Students -- Parking permits must be visible by Friday or your car will be ticketed.


Today’s big shout goes to Mr. Griffis and the administrative team for getting the train rolling on the track.


Students that need a schedule change should come by the guidance office in  between classes or during lunch to pick up a drop/add form.  Please only fill out one form. If you have an empty period, please come to the guidance office during that period to correct it. Drop/Add forms are due no later than Friday afternoon at 3:45. You will be notified once your drop/add form has been processed.

Student parking will be sold after school between 3:30 and 4:00 on Thursday and Friday in the Main Office. Parking is $40.00 per vehicle. Student lockers will be sold during the 9th grade lunch on Friday in the cafeteria for $15.00.

Students interested in cross country can sign up in Mr. Horsley’s room, 719. Please sign up by Friday of this week.


The all sport kick-off dinner is scheduled for Monday, August 7 at 6:30 p.m., in the cafeteria. Student athletes and families are all invited to attend.

Softball will scrimmage Mt. Zion on Monday after school at 5:30 p.m. Be sure to come out and support our Central Lions!

It’s a great day to be a Central Lion and let’s remember, we are one community, one family, and one pride. Keep it rolling and keep it clean!
