The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.
Teachers -- Please check dress code and ask students to get rid of food and drinks from outside vendors.
Attention Students: Email check out requests will no longer be accepted in the front office. All check out notes will have to be handwritten from parents, or the parent must come into Student Services to sign the student out.
Attention Seniors: If you have outstanding fee balances with a club or organization, or owe money for lost books or materials, payments are due by May 1.
Today’s big shout out goes to Sidney Stone for taking 1st place in the Region Track Tournament in pole vault! Great job Sidney!
Attention Chorus Seniors: We will begin meeting to practice for baccalaureate next week at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings in the chorus room. Please ask Ms. Abney for a hall pass in order to attend the practice session.
FFA Chapter Degrees and Officer Applications are Due THIS Friday to Ms. Williford or Mrs. Dysart. If you are interested in shaping the history of the Central of Carroll FFA, here is your chance!
Any student interested in learning more about the Move On When Ready (MOWR) program at the University of West Georgia is invited to attend an information session on April 27 from 1pm to 3pm. Attendees will tour campus, learn about on-campus dining options, athletic programs, majors, advisement, financial aid and more. Students interested in attending summer school can pick up summer school packets in the Guidance Office.

Symphonic band is in Gatlinburg, the Work-based Learning breakfast is taking place at Tabernacle Church, and varsity baseball plays at Heard County tonight. The 1986 State Runner-Up Reunion recognition will take place. It’s a great day to be a Central Lion!!
