The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.

Teachers -- Please check dress code and ask students to get rid of food and drinks from outside vendors.


Today’s big shout out goes to the girls tennis team as they came in runner up in the region after last night’s tournament.


Any current FBLA member interested in becoming an FBLA Officer for the 2017-2018 school year needs to stop by and see Mrs. Hall this week.

Attention Seniors: Anyone interested in participating in a Southwire and West Georgia Technical College tour on Thursday, April 20, sign up in the guidance office and pick up permission slip forms. All forms are due to the guidance office by Tuesday, April 18.

Tomorrow morning, students taking an AP exam that signed up for the April 14 pre-administration session or who have not yet attended a session this week MUST report to the Media Center today during 7th period.

FFA members- Remember to stop by for an application to be an officer for next year and scholarship opportunities! All due April 21.

The following students need to see Ms. Bowen between now and tomorrow afternoon.

If you made the 2017 cheerleading team, there is a mandatory parent meeting today at 5:30 in the cafeteria. You and your parent must attend. If you have any questions please see Coach Eady, Coach Gallas-Smith, or Coach Jordan.


All athletes must have a physical on file to participate in 2017-2018. Free physicals will be given on Thursday, April 20. Have your completed physical form in hand and meet in the Walker Gym after school that Thursday.


Color Guard tryouts will be held April 17-20. If you are interested please pick up the registration packets in the Band Room. No experience needed just good attitudes and a fabulous work ethic.

Attention ladies! The 2017 Miss Leonine Pageant is getting close and registration packets are due one week from today! This year's Miss Leonine promises to be better than ever with several prizes awarded, including 2 individual picture session packages! Stop but the band room or front office to pick up your packet today.


Varsity baseball is at LaGrange, golf is at Haralson County, Track is at Heard County, and soccer plays at home. Super busy day in Lion Valley! Come out and support our Lions!

And let’s remember Central Lions, keep our campus clean and it’s time to rise and roar!
