TOMORROW is an important day. Ninth grade course registration forms are due, Prom forms are due, Yearbook reservations are due, and senior dues must be paid! It’s time to take care of business!


Today’s big shout out goes to the boys and girls tennis teams for defeating Troup County yesterday. Wins for the girls came from Emily Justice, Elle Jones, Katie Schmittou,  Madison Spruell, and Anya Dunn. Wins for the boys came from Griffin Thomas, Bailey Lewis, Dalton Lewis, Eli Boswell , Ethan Caldwell, Andrew Stewart, and Drew Smith. Come Celebrate SENIOR NIGHT Tuesday, March 21 and support Varsity Tennis Teams as we host Mt Zion. Go Lions!


All students participating in Spanish Test Out should report to room 141 at the beginning of 4th period today.


Any senior who has not taken an admissions test to attend West Georgia Technical College this fall should report to the Guidance Office to sign up for the ACCUPLACER.  This test is free and will be administered on Thursday, April 13 in the Media Center Computer Lab.  Please go by the Guidance Office to register before noon on April 10.

Attention students: The LAST day to reserve a yearbook is this Friday! Beginning Monday, books will be sold on a first come, first served basis, and you will not be able to purchase books online. Don't be left out! Order yours today!

Seniors should join the Counselors' Google Classroom for scholarship information if you have not already done so. Scholarship information is posted there and the access code is 3xwj9m1.  You can also access it using the QR Codes posted around the school on the pink half sheets of paper.

Attention Wrestlers: If you are a wrestling team member, who finished the entire season and is in good standing with the team, please plan to attend the wrestling banquet on Monday, March 27 at Roopville Road Baptist Church. The banquet will begin at 7:00 p.m. Please RSVP to Coach Fountain as soon as possible.

Any Key Club member who has not paid for their pancake tickets needs to get money to Ms. Bowen by Friday. Our regularly scheduled Key Club meeting for this Wednesday and Thursday has been postponed until March 22 at 3:30p.m., and March 23 at 7:50 a.m. Every Key Club member is expected to attend one of these meetings.

Calling all ladies! Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 29 and get ready to smile! The Central High School Miss Leonine Pageant will be held at Roopville Road Baptist Church in the gym. See Mr. Ruby in the band room for registration and information.


Chorus is enjoying dinner at the Front Porch tonight, Symphonic Band is at LGPE in Rome, and varsity baseball is home against Chapel Hill. Put your warm clothes on and come out to support our Central Lions.

And let’s remember Central Lions, keep our campus clean and it’s time to rise and roar!
