The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.
Teachers -- Please check dress code and ask students to get rid of food and drinks from outside vendors.
Attention Seniors--The deadline to pay senior dues is noon on Friday, March 17. Once dues are paid your cap and gown is ordered. Please pay Ms. Duffey in the front office.
Today’s first Beta Club teacher shout out goes to Mrs. Smith from Devin Conner, “You have helped me so much academically and in general the past two years. Thank you for being such a great teacher. I hope to see you next year and many years after!” To Ms. Beverly from Tyra Babbs, “¡No habla español! Lol.”
Our second shout out goes to Michele Jackson, our school social worker. It is National School Social Worker week and we want to say thanks for all your hard work and support you give our students.
Attention MOWR Students: A representative from University of West Georgia will be on campus Monday, March 13 to register students for summer and fall semesters. Any student currently participating in the MOWR program at University of West Georgia should stop by the Guidance Office today to pick up a registration appointment time.
There are only four (4) days left to complete an application to become a class officer or student council candidate for the 2017-2018 school year. See Ms. Cowart in room 732 or stop by the Media Center for an application. The deadline is Friday, March 10, no acceptions.
Any Key Club member not attending the prom, please come by Ms. Bowen's room today and pick up a flyer about an expense-free weekend leadership training held March 24-26. This training is a great opportunity and looks great on a college resume.
Calling all ladies! Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 29 and get ready to smile! The Central High School Miss Leonine Pageant will be held at Roopville Road Baptist Church in the gym. See Mr. Ruby in the band room for registration and information.
JV baseball plays at home tonight against Haralson County, tennis plays at Heard County, and golf is at Haralson County. Come out and support our Central Lions!
