The mission of Central High School is to provide all students with educational opportunities through a challenging curriculum which meets the needs of a diverse school community.
Teachers -- Please check dress code and ask students to get rid of food and drinks from outside vendors.
Attention Seniors--The deadline to pay senior dues is noon on Friday, March 17. Once dues are paid your cap and gown is ordered. Please pay Ms. Duffey in the front office.
Attention teachers, there will be a sophomore class meeting with Balfour at 10:00 in the cafeteria.
Our first big shout out goes to the boys and girls tennis teams for serving up Temple by winning each match. Wins for the girls came from Katie Schmittou, Madison Spruell, Anya Dunn, Erin Lewis, and Anna Handley. Wins for the boys came from Griffin Thomas, Bailey Lewis, Dalton Lewis, Eli Boswell, Ethan Caldwell, Landon Schulenburg, and Drew Smith.
Our second shout out goes to the JV baseball team for beating Chapel Hill last night, 3 to 2. Casey Casseen got the win with 7 strikeouts. Great job Lions!
Our third shout out goes to Beta Club students for giving shout outs to teachers in honor of Beta Club Week! Today’s first teacher shout outs go to Mr. Biddle, for being awesome, well diversified, not only fun, but also a great leader in drama from Tyra Babbs and Claire Dufour says thank you for being an awesome teacher. To Mr. Dailey from Hannah Cummings, thanks for challenging me and for always pushing me to do my best! The final teacher shout of the day goes to Ms. Beverly from Anna Handley, thank you so much for your time before and after school to help me prepare for GHP! I could never have been as confident in my interview without your help! Stay tuned for more Beta Club teacher shout outs tomorrow!

Attention MOWR Students: A representative from University of West Georgia will be on campus Monday, March 13 to register students for summer and fall semesters. Any student currently participating in the MOWR program at University of West Georgia should stop by the Guidance Office today to pick up a registration appointment time.
There are only four (4) days left to complete an application to become a class officer or student council candidate for the 2017-2018 school year. See Ms. Cowart in room 732 or stop by the Media Center for an application. The deadline is Friday, March 10, no acceptions.
Attention Interested Volleyball Players: There will be an important meeting for anyone interested in playing volleyball after school at 3:45 p.m. in the Walker Gym. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please contact Coach Chris Smith at email@example.com.
Calling all ladies! Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 29 and get ready to smile! The Central High School Miss Leonine Pageant will be held at Roopville Road Baptist Church in the gym. See Mr. Ruby in the band room for registration and information.
There is a band concert tonight at Mt. Holly at 7:00 p.m., track is at home at 4:00 p.m., varsity tennis plays at home against LaGrange at 4:30 p.m., varsity baseball plays at home against Bremen, and it is Central High School Spirit night at Steak ‘n Shake! Lion Valley is filled with activities tonight! Come out and support our Central Lions!
