Central High School Students Win Top Honors at Kiwanis Art and Music Showcase

Central High School visual art students took top honors at the Kiwanis Art and Music Showcase. Morgan Collins won first place and a $400 scholarship for her piece entitled, "Hard Edges". Abigail Sadler won second place and a $300 scholarship for her artwork entitled, "Rise".

The event is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Carrollton and is open to high school students in grades 9-12 who attend area schools. The winners of competitions will be eligible to participate in District Competition in April and have the chance to win additional scholarships donated by the Georgia District Kiwanis Foundation.

Central High School's Visual Arts teacher is Ms. Cynthia Landon.
