Central High School Students Attend Future Scientists and Technologists Conference

Central High School students Steven Couch and Dean Carver participated in the Congress of Future Scientists and Technologists this past summer. Students were selected to attend because of their leadership ability, academic achievement, and dedication to science and technology. The National Academy of Future Scientists and Technologists sponsors the Congress symposium with the help of national organizations such as the American School Counselor Association, the National Chamber of Teachers of Mathematics, the Science Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Education Coalition, and many more.

The Congress of Future Scientists and Technologists took place at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. Steven and Dean had the opportunity to meet students from across the U.S. as well as listen to presentations from Nobel Prize winners, experts in the fields of engineering and applied sciences, and mathematics.
