West Point Cadet Speaks to Central High School JROTC Cadets

West Point Cadet Charles "Chas" Wagner, a Douglas County High School graduate, took time to speak to the Air Force Junior ROTC Cadets at Central High School. Cadet Wagner attended the Academy Preparatory College in Texas for a year before receiving an appointment to West Point Military Academy.

As he nears the end of his second year at West Point, Cadet Wagner requested the opportunity to speak to our students about the incredible experience he's having and the future options available to him. Cadet Wagner plans to earn an engineering degree and will complete a five (5) year commission with the U.S. Army.

Lt Col. Mike Washington and MSgt Henry Astudillo are the JROTC instructors at Central High School.
