Central High School FFA Awarded Public Speaking Honors

Central High School FFA students earned top honors in public speaking in a recent Area 1 competition. Avery earned 4th place in the Area 1 FFA Extemporaneous Public Speaking Competition on Tuesday. He was given 30 minutes to prepare a 4 to 6 minute speech on the topic, How urban agriculture plays a vital role in the progress of crop and livestock advancement. Savannah represented Central High School in the Prepared Public Speaking Competition. Her speech on The Impact of Coca Cola and other large companies have on Agriculture, earned her 5th place in her division.

The Central High School FFA sponsors are Ms. Laura Williford and Ms. Nikhol Dysart.
