Central High School FBLA Region Champions AGAIN!
Central High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) brought home the Region Championship trophy for the 5th time in six years. Winning five times is a new record for Central High School and Carroll County Schools. No other high school in the county or region has earned championship honors five times.
Students advancing to state competition in March are Tyler King placing 1st in Client Services and Help Desk. Brant Entrekin placed 1st in Public Speaking 1 and 2nd in Intro to Business Presentation. Lindsay Koziel placed 1st in Public Speaking 2. The team of Maryn Biddle, Samuel Eidson, and Drew Smith placed 2nd in Intro to Business Presentation. The team of Andrew Stewart, Brooke Turner, and Katelyn Bennett placed 1st in Business Ethics. Jillian Kellett placed 2nd in Financial Literacy. Hannah Turner placed 3rd in Financial Literacy. Sydney Wiggins placed 6th in Intro to Business Communication and 3rd in Intro to Financial Math. Heidi Anderson placed 8th in Intro to Financial Math. Patrick Jennings placed 6th in Intro to Information Technology. Ethan Hembree placed 1st in Organizational Leadership. Emily Williams placed 5th in Organizational Leadership. Carolina Butler placed 1st in Journalism.
Andrew Stewart placed 3rd in Journalism. Logan North placed 2nd in Journalism and 8th in Business Calculations. Madison Spruell placed 5th in Business Calculations. Marissa Royals placed 7th in Business Calculations. Tyler Anderson placed 9th in Business Calculations. Anna Handley placed 2nd in Business Communications.
